Join us for a 7-Day Residential Insight Meditation Retreat
with Jim Bedard (Varindo) and Eric Berger (Jasudho), at Chapin Mill Retreat Center, Batavia, NY, August 20 to 27, 2022. (Car pooling available.)

The retreat will include meditation instruction, Dharma talks, and personal interviews. We will follow our lay-retreat schedule that includes meals at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Jasudho will offer Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes each afternoon for those interested.

This retreat had previously been announced as a retreat with Ayya Medhanandi. But due to health concerns, Ayya Medhanandi will not be joining us for this retreat. Also, some participants expressed concerns about having a digital screen in the Meditation Hall. So, to preserve the ambiance of seclusion, our lay teachers (Jim and Eric) will offer dharma teachings and be available for interviews.

We encourage you to arouse the resolve to enter wholeheartedly into this time-honoured practice of coming together to support—and benefit from—the cumulative energy of spending several days practicing with a community of like-minded committed practitioners. Time waits for no one.

This retreat provides us with a wonderful opportunity to practice in this ancient tradition that has transmitted this priceless teaching of liberation to us through two and a half millennia.
