Dedicated Dharma Practitioner (DDP) Program
September 15 @ 7:00 pm - September 16 @ 4:00 pm

Introducing SIMT’s Revised
Dedicated Dharma Practitioner (DDP) program
Dear Friends,
For those intent on realizing what the Buddha called “the unshakeable deliverance of the heart,” SIMT will soon be reviving the Dedicated Dharma Practitioner program (DDP). This revised version of the program will be different than previous DDP programs. It will focus on whole-life-practice to fortify and deepen our relationship with the Dharma.
Please email us at: info@satipanna.com
if you’re interested and we will be in touch.
For over 2500 years, Dharma practitioners have relied upon a mutually respectful and beneficial relationship with teachers for the purpose of deepening their practice—truly a blessing for ourselves and our world.
Working closely with a teacher, while committing to regular practice, offers an unparalleled opportunity to clarify doubt, strengthen samadhi, and cultivate compassion and understanding. It’s an invitation to live the joy and happiness of a developed Dharma practice.
No one can “give” us liberation. Each of us is responsible to make individual effort. Working closely with a teacher enhances the process and provides an opportunity for progress toward realizing the bliss of liberation. Our teachers have worked closely with their teachers for decades. This is how the light of Dharma has been passed down for generations.
If you have been practising with—and have been an SIMT supporter—for at least six months (Note: we will make exceptions for newer people who demonstrate a sincere willingness to participate) and you are interested in further developing your practice (including more frequent meetings with the teachers) we ask that you consider the matter carefully before making the request to embark upon this training program.
We will be holding a special Ceremony and Retreat in Toronto at The Friends House
