Online 5-Day Insight Meditation Retreat

Theme: Exploring the Factors of Awakening

With: Jim Bedard (Varindo) and Eric Berger (Jasudo)
Chris Freypons and Upasika Eleanor assisting

Tuesday, February 14 at 7:00 p.m.  to  Saturday, February 18 at 11:30 a.m.
Attend full time or part time.

Cultivating the Factors of Awakening (also called: The 7 Factors of Enlightenment) is an important aspect of Dhamma practice and as such requires dedication and commitment. Once cultivated they become the expression of Awakening in our lives.
The rewards are beyond description.

As much as possible we would like this retreat to resemble an in-person residential retreat. So, in that light:

  1. We encourage you to leave your video camera on during group meditation and Dharma Talks so others will know you are present in support. It is not necessary to sit facing the computer. Feel free to sit further back or facing another direction (profile) if you like. However, facing the camera during Dhamma talks is a sign of respectful attention for the teachers and other participants.
  2. However, if you are uncomfortable leaving your camera on, please feel welcome to attend the retreat with video camera off.
  3. If you are attending full time, please attend all sittings or send us an email to explain why you cannot attend a sitting or Dhamma talk. The same would apply during an in-person retreat.
  4. If you are attending part-time (morning and evenings) please commit to a schedule and stay with it.
  5. All sittings for this retreat are limited to those who register. If you wish to attend Tuesday night (and perhaps other evenings) and/or Saturday morning only, you will need to register. (see below.)
